This picture shows my first piece, a knotted pearl necklace, from the first week of the Threadwork series of classes.  For this I decided to deviate from my usual subdued and conservative colours.  I chose magenta silk thread (purchased from your shop) and a crazy and diverse range of colours in freshwater pearls (also mostly purchased from your shop).  The interesting features of this necklace are the groupings of 3 and 5 alternating pearls, with gaps in between the groups, the length of the necklace (it can be worn as a single long strand, or doubled over for a totally different look) – and of course the colours!!
